BioPRO introduces beneficial (friendly) bacteria -- lactobacillus acidophilus, among others. Also known as microflora or probiotics, beneficial bacteria are severely lacking in our food supply. Depletion is due to several reasons: The advent of genetically modified foods, sterilization and use of synthetic fertilizers in our soil, pollution, and stress. In addition, over-consumption of diet sodas, sugar, alcohol, antibiotics, and over-processed / over-cooked foods add to the problem. Also, drinking chlorinated tap water kills bacteria indiscriminately, including beneficial bacteria. Of the approximate 100 trillion bacteria in your gut, some are good and some bad. Ideally, 85 percent good to 15 percent bad is the healthy ratio to seek concerning bacteria. Unfortunately, a large percentage of the population is in the unhealthy ratio of 15 percent good and 85 percent bad.
Studies
Show That Probiotics Aid in the Prevention or Control of:
This product contains the DDS-1 strain of
lactobacillus acidophilus, bifidum (bifidus), longum, faecium, and sporogenes. There is a minimum of one billion active bacteria
in every dose. A carbohydrate called fructooligosaccharides (FOS) found in foods such as
bananas, tomatoes, onions, and garlic is needed by the bacteria to do their job. BioPRO is a superior mix of probiotic (beneficial) bacteria,
specific growth factors (Lactobacillus Growth Factor) and a special
class of natural carbohydrates called fructooligosaccharides (FOS) that
increase naturally-occurring, health-promoting digestive system
bacteria. |
