I have found this particular brand, Barlean's, to be the very best (along with Nutiva) to others I have used over the years. This one is not chunky nor makes you smell like coconuts and, as a result, is one of the best skin moisturizers for the money. It applies to the face and all other body parts smooth and even. It is the best massage oil I've ever used (and/or, had a massage therapist use on me) -- hands down.

Increases the Effectiveness of BHT
When mixed with BHT, it enhances the effectiveness of BHT (butylated-hydroxytoluene),a support supplement for herpes/cold sores (both Type 1 and 2) according to Research Scientists/Authors Steven Fowkes and John Mann.
